We’re 65 Years Old!!
When Frank Davies opened the doors to The Climbers Shop in 1959 he had £500 worth of stock and shelves full of empty boot boxes hinting at the vast size range that might be available. His first customer left the shop with a new Viking Rope he didn’t pay for but undeterred, Frank expanded and grew the business into the premises we trade from today.
To help us celebrate 65 years supplying climbers, mountaineers, trekkers, hillwalkers, runners and expeditions with clothing and equipment that has taken them to all corners of the globe we would love for you to get involved and send us a postcard from wherever you enjoy your adventures.
Maybe it’s local walks, runs or climbs that you love?
Or is it far-flung destinations that excite you?
Perhaps it is an expedition to a remote region where sending a postcard is a challenge in itself?
