Whether you’re a trad climber, sport climber, boulderer or all three our 2026 JB Big Tick Summer Challenge has something for you!
It’s our 60th anniversary and to celebrate, our staff team have hand picked over 60 routes for you to enjoy the very best of North Welsh climbing; test yourself on a legendary Joe Brown route, immerse yourself on classic mountain climbs, head into new areas, try old classics or maybe even have a go at a new discipline - that’s the beauty of climbing; the rules are your own!
From the beginning of April, choose from trad climbs full of stars (Diff - E3 6a), test yourself on sport routes (4+ - 7b) or crank on boulders (5 - 7b+) to enjoy a summer of rock right through until the end of September. Pick up a freebie or two or even win a fine art piece of Cenotaph Corner!
How do I get involved?
Pick up a tick list from our Llanberis or Capel Curig shops or hop online to our comp page on UK Climbing
Choose a group of routes to tick off on the list below
Have a TON of fun out on the rock
Take pics and tag us at #JBbigtick
Once you have completed a group, pop into either of our Joe Brown shops with your completed tick list (digital or paper) to collect your freebie
DON’T FORGET to upload your image to our UK Climbing competition gallery to enter our prize draw!
